Surprisingly, I only know a couple of people who attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. But UCM has wasted no time saluting its most famous alumnus.

I Tivo Idol and start it 30-40 minutes after it starts, mainly because all those commercials are excruciating. Anyway, because of this, and the fact I had my head down typing, I totally missed the Guitar Hero ads.
The David Cook one makes some sense. The one with the Eunuch just seems a tad bit weird, and I swear he’s wearing a pair of those magical underpants. He might be a better fit for ads for another Harmonix game — Karaoke Revolution.
I love Karaoke Revolution and own 4 editions of the game. There are 2 American Idol editions of the game which I do not own, but I’m sure this partnership with Harmonix made a Guitar Hero tie-in fairly easy to negotiate.
