Let the Fan Wars Begin! Sacramento Scandal on the American Idol Tour
You batshit crazies really need to give Matt Giraud a break. I’m sure he’s a wee bit testy since Quatto seems to be out of his life. I know I haven’t been feeling like myself ever since Quatto disappeared.
Some ugliness went down outside the buses in Sacramento last night because Lambert didn’t feel like putting up with his ravenous fans while nursing a hangover. I kind of have to agree with Lambert on this one, as I can’t even imagine dealing with that nonsense while exhausted and hungover.

Glambert tweeted he couldn’t meet and greet the hordes at the Sacramento concert because he had a “headache”. Yet the night before ppl twittered that they saw Glambert out at a gay bar called Lush to all hours in the morning.
Apparently Glambert disappointed his tards in Sacramento because he partied too hard the night before. Leaving many of his tards to wait for hours to meet him, but he bailed because of a “headache”…more like a hangover.
Anyway, Lambert was hungover and people didn’t get to meet him. And some little girl wanted to give him a letter or something. And Matt Giraud wouldn’t pick it up off the ground, where it landed after she tried throwing it to Lambert and WHY THE HELL AM I WRITING ABOUT THIS…

We were standing in line about 30 or 40 feet from the beginning of the crowd and about 2 people deep. Right behind me was a young mom with her daughter who was probably 7 or 8. The daughter was restless and wanted to leave, but had a letter that she had written for Adam that she wanted to give him. I know this because we had all talked amongst ourselves about who we were waiting for and had agreed to try to let each other get toward the front when “our” idols came by. Michael had already come by and signed autographs, and Anoop and Matt were starting to make their way down the line when Adam came out and walked toward the buses, waving at the crowd and blowing kisses. The girl, probably realizing that he wasn’t going to come, but really wanting to get it to him, threw the letter (I don’t think it was in an envelope, it was just written on some kiddie-looking stationary. Needless to say, it only went about three or four feet beyond the barrier, so I was about to ask one of the security guys if he could pick it up for her, but he started walking the other direction. A minute later, Matt came along. He was very friendly to everyone and even signed a shirt that my wife had brought to get some signatures on. There was a moment where nobody was calling his name, so I thought, maybe he would pick the letter up and slip it in his pocket and give it to Adam when he got in the bus, so I said, “Hey Matt, there is a letter right there that this little girl wrote (there is no way he could have seen the girl as she was several people back and only about 3 feet tall), and she wanted to give it to Adam. Could you take it to her. He looked up and said, “sorry, I’m not Adam’s messenger. I hope he gets it.” and moved on. Interjecting my personal opinion, I think that in that scenario, I would have bent over and just slipped it in my pocket, but then again, Matt was busy trying to please a whole throng of fans, and it really wasn’t his duty to play mailman to Adam. The tale is nothing more and nothing less than that. I don’t think it is fair to judge Matt’s personality based on one 5 second interaction in the middle of a crowd, and that was not the point of my tweet. I just really felt bad for that girl, who I could tell was just hoping for nothing more than a chance to say hi to Adam. So please, tell your readers to take it easy on Matt. I don’t think he deserves some of the flames I’m seeing thrown at him, and I’m sorry to be the instigator of that with my tweet.
I guess the crowd was really insane last night, as people were mauling most of the contestants. According to eyewitness Tweets. (I can’t believe i just wrote the phrase eyewitness Tweets. Please Twitter. Please die.)
Matty is just sad because he hasn’t heard from Quatto The Mole. Quatto is probably sitting on an island somewhere drinking Mai Tais because he could not handle dealing with these lunatics all summer long. Hey, I understand where he’s coming from. I totally miss Quatto, too.
Anyway, stop vilifying the poor guy. Or Lambert. Better yet, just go to the show and don’t try mauling any of the performers afterwards.
And Quatto, if you have wifi on that island you’re hiding out on, think of me while you sip your Mai Tais and please know that I miss you.
Asking other Idols to fetch or pass stuff to their favorites is rude ! I can see why Matt got upset – he probably has to deal with this crap all the time since Adam is apparently taking a pass on dealing with his insane tards (can’t blame him for that). Hey, little girl, if you want to give a letter to Adam send it through the mail !
Lush is in SAN FRANCISCO, not Sacramento.
If you want to start a rumor, get at least SOME of the facts right.

It’s 2 + hours away…highly unlikely with that concert schedule and he’d have to rent a car. Which likelihood would you choose to believe?
They stayed in San Francisco the night before the show. I believe they’re staying in the area the entire time because of its proximity to Sacramento, Oakland and San Jose.
That’s not feasible. I lived in the Bay Area for 18 years until 2 years ago and I can tell you that to get to Sacramento (with Friday traffic) is a 4 hour commute. 280 or 101 to San Jose can also be a parking lot but take at least 1 1/2 hours to commute. Oakland, not so much. It would seem imprudent of the tour to do that. Bands don’t generally do that when they tour the area unless they fly into SFO and stay by the airport. I cannot imagine why Idol would be any different than any other bus tour band. If they stayed anywhere, it would be Oakland side, not SF. Not convincing. Show me pictures. But then, to smear someone is so much more fun, isn’t it? And on top of all those unlikely facts, his hangover lasted all day and the next night? He’s 27 not 72. Give me a break.
A lot of the Idols were Tweeting and posting photos on Thursday night about spending time in San Francisco.
Anoop had burritos with old friends, Sarver/Gokey/Giraud had some dinner…Scott MacIntyre posted a photo of himself in SF.
He would have been out Thursday night in SF, they probably left for Sacramento mid-morning on Friday (or earlier).
And no, hangovers don’t last that long, but I’m sure the guy was exhausted after a long day on not that much sleep. I know I’ve been like that on lots of occasions, as have a lot of people.
What’s the big deal if he was out partying the night before? I say more power to him.

Right after the concert the bus left and went back to the bay area. S. F. is centrally located and here is the proof that Adam was out the night before.

This was posted the night before the Sacramento concert. People partying at Lush spotted Adam and started twittering that he was out at that bar, and that was the night before the Sacramento concert.
Like Adam wouldn’t take a chance to party in San Francisco, if your gay who wouldn’t. That is the Gay Mecca of the west. you Glamberts are something else.
There were no reports of the Idols staying in Sacramento and S.F. is not that far away so they are probably staying there using that as a base and going to local areas of Sacrmento, Oakland and San Jose.

Now back to ex-Mole man. He isn’t Glambert’s man servant so why should he be delivering fan mail. The Idols have a fan mail address. Send it there. It’s not his fault that Adam partied too hard the night before and was to tired to meet the fans. He has to have his fun too.
okay, I LIVE in San Francisco currently…
they are staying there for the 3 concert dates because a few of them were actually spotted in Pier 39 on Thursday. In fact, Scott on his twitter posted a picture of himself in SF and you can clearly see the cable car tracks as well. Also my friend spotted Danny and Matt in the mall downtown. so if the argument is that they did not stay in SF so there would be no way Adam is partying is lame.
Also, just a note. SF to Sacramento with traffic would be at most 3 hours. If they stayed by the airport, this would add time to travel to both sacramento and oakland. the reason to stay in downtown sf is because it’s close to these locations and since san jose is their last tour date in the bay area, they will probably check out before they get to san jose (and not likely that they return to SF)

Wow0 that is so rude of him to say. I realize he is bitter about Adam’s fame and himself being a failure, but that’s no reason to take it out on American Idol fans.
