Kris Allen Album Cover Art?

People are speculating this photo will be used as the cover art on Kris Allen’s debut album.
If it is, I kind of like it. I always sort of thought the cover of David Cook’s album was rather douchey in appearance. I’m not sure where this began circulating, but relax. I’m on it. Enjoy the photo. I still think Kris Allen is one of the few Idol contestant who would ever warrant a second glance if you saw him walking down the street. I don’t care how many Twitter accounts are dedicated to the body parts of say, a clumsy church-going oaf like Danny Gokey, most of the male contestants are rather average looking and never would be lusted after had they not been on some TV show.
Adam Lambert wasn’t bad a few years back, but he’s gotten a little pudgy. Kris Allen and Ace Young (best damn body ever seen on that shit show) are the only two I can think of offhand, actually, who are actually hot out of the they-were-on-Idol context. Bo Bice wasn’t a bad looking guy, either, and I’m not even into long hair. But hmmm….no. And I don’t care what any of his most devoted fans say, David Cook auditioned with Manic Panic-ed, Flock of Seagulls hair. He looked like a complete dork. He received one helluva makeover.

I think the eye-liner/hair scares some people away, but he’s really a nice looking guy.
Kris Allen is sexy. I agree, David Cook is average looking. And most of the Idol contestants are just ‘okay’ looking, but have gotten makeovers. Carrie Underwood started out okay but now she is one of the prettiest women in Hollywood.
Kris Allen is very uniquely cute and sexy. I think he is only going to get sexier with time. I have to admit, Adam Lambert (in his auditions) was not that attractive, and he is slightly pudgy (not as much as Cook), yet I find him really beautiful. He has a great smile, and his style is great… I don’t know he just stands out.

The only one here that I actually noticed true was people leaving during his set. The same old man that glared at me and my friends for dancing during Adam’s set literally walked out the door when Kris came on! I was so fucking pissed. So my 12 year old friend gave him the middle finger lol 🙂

You totally have a point there about Glamberts having Kris on their google alerts. How else would you explain that there are more glamberts posting on Kris articles (even if they’re all negative) than there are Kris fans? I’m a Kris fan and I don’t post on his articles, I just read them. I don’t care for Adam anymore so I don’t give two shits about who he’s working with or what kind of album he’s making. But I don’t go around posting on his threads at twop or on his articles badmouthing him either.

I’m adding Jason Castro to the list of attractive guys. I think Kris is facially more handsome than Jason, but Jason, like Kris has a to die for hot little body. He also has the most mesmerizing blue eyes.
Cook…meh. Never did it for me. Paunchy and balding. That’s all I saw. Clay…well there were times that he looked good, but it was his voice that made him appear sexy at times, IMO…not his looks. Although the make up people did wonders with him and his cheekbones at one time were classic. Now, he’s a bit overweight and chipmunk like too, but way back when…he wasn’t a bad looking guy. But I agree. Hot. Nope. Not at all.
Now..in person Constantine (don’t throw tomatoes, please) is a looker. Tall, lean and legs that never end. He photographs horribly. But in person, when his hair is done right…a looker.

When I think of the Adam Fans at MJ’s the German word — Schadenfreude — comes to mind, deriving pleasure from other’s misfortunes. In this case out of Kris’s precieved misfortunes. They disguise it with cloying concern, when beneath it all they long for Kris Allen to fail. They’re giddy with anticipation.
I’m beginning to have a hard time separating my distaste for them and my feelings about Lambert. Unfortunately, it’s a guilty by association thing.

OR (like me) are ordering Kris, Adam and/or Allison CD’s together to get Amazon’s shipping break of no charge for a purchase over $25. NO, according to them, 19E knows that Adam is the one getting AI fans to buy all THREE albums, therefore Kris and Allison are ‘oh so lucky that Adam is the one carrying their sales’.
I’m trying to stick with ontd_ai for news. They might be on the younger side, but most are mature and classy enough to respect the talents/fans of all three idols. Sadly, the old hags on MJ and TwoP have a lot to learn from the kiddies.

I was looking on TWoP this weekend and ‘sweet and sour’ was sure busy on Kris’s thread. She posts there a lot.

They go after Allison b/c she’s going to break out in a couple of years as a huge star. Everyone, from AI bloggers to worsters to garden variety AI watchers recognize her raw talent and GENUINE rock star quality. She’s not a fake act (like Gaga), nor is she going to be re-inventing herself to fit what is current (e.g. Madonna, very likely Adam). The girl has IT and she just needs time to mature into a true female rocker of the 21st century.
The judges/producers bussed her for that reason. They realized early on that she was Adam’s true competition so they tried to stop her with their jabs and inane evaluations. They cluelessly ignored the fact that Kris was a true competitor b/c they are morons. The crazies realize this truth deep inside.
Once Allison starts releasing albums it’s a whole new ballgame and in the long run Allison is the more obvious choice for a huge success. Even BSC Adam fans recognize this truth subconsciously and that’s why they go after Ali, b/c they are terrified that a young girl is going to show up their horse. In addition, she shows them the lie of the ‘Adam is a rocker’. That boy is a great singer but he’s not a rockstar and he will never be one. His voice and attitude is all pop. Allison on the other hand….
As a Kradison fan it doesn’t matter to me. Kris and Adam will have their own fanbases and do fine, even if they don’t become ‘stars’.

Sometime back during the AI competition, there were several pictures taken of Kris and Katy. Right off, I thought they looked liked a perfect hollywood couple. Everything worked. Good-looking, tastefully dressed, looked fantastic together. Kris wasn’t even trying, it was just natural. He just has “IT”.
I think Kris works out a lot. His brother is really athletic. I highly doubt Kris will let his body go.
As far as, Adam Lambert, the guy has a hard-on 95% of the time. It made me wonder if it was the real deal.

I don’t think there was ever any evidence about him doing coke, although he claims to have hated it in the Rolling Stone interview. While I’m sure he’s dabbled in more than mushrooms, as many people have, I don’t think the guy ever was doing anything more than some recreational use every so often. Ever. I think it mainly has to do with the fact he was in LA and probably working out & eating better on a regular basis b/c hey, there are lots of beautiful fit men in LA and looks are always at a premium there. People in LA are not as easy to please as Idol fans. And he was younger then, too. Hey, who knows. But I don’t think he was necessarily staying thin by doing blow.

I think Adam gained weight on the tour, but I will also note it does appear he may have lost a few pounds because his face appeared a lot thinner in those photos of him in New Orleans. It would probably be easy to gain weight while touring because of the schedule and all the time spent in the buses…
Lauren, I wasn’t saying it to be mean, nor do I think everyone should be thin (oh hell no!), but when you look at photos of Lambert from a couple of years ago, he was in tip-top shape. And in some of those photos he looks downright sexy. I think the Kate Gosselin-esque hairstyle he often did on the Tour (I know the other is “emo hair”) wasn’t very good in terms of thinning out one’s face. I think when his hair is slicked back or more flat (or emo, I guess), that is also more flattering on him.
