Why is everyone so angry? With MJ’s down, I thought I would see what this site was about since I was one of the confused ones last night at MJ’s. I only go to MJ’s site and am not that familiar with all of the other blogs.
Buy anyhew, I clicked on the Adam links here and they were all pretty negative about Adam and/or his fans so I am assuming this is primarily a Kris Allen fansite? Which is fine by me, because if people don’t like it, they don’t need to go here.

I think what MJ does is great, which is why I would never encroach on the things which make her blog so good. It is THE best place to go for news and other headlines. Mine is more tongue-and-cheek, sometimes muckraking, you know, that sort of thing. I know I am RARELY the person to have news first so I work with what I can get. Surprisingly, people read me (I’m as shocked as you must be.)

I think to some people it may come across that way, but it really isn’t. I’ll admit there are a few people who comment here that have little use for Adam, but it’s their own personal opinion. Most of the snark is directed at Glamberts b/c honestly, they are legion and they asking it for it most of the time. The Adam fans who stick around here are not crazy Glamberts, and have a sense of humor about the RockGod !!!!11!!!!! Kris would get snarked on much more, but honestly…he and his fans haven’t made their crazy public. Thank you for the warm welcome. I will pop in from time to time as I enjoy a good snarky comment. I am an Adam fan, but I like all of the idols, even Danny. To be honest, I kind of have a soft spot for Danny as I think he’s been through a rough patch and is socially awkward because of it. I think getting the tattoo of his wife’s name on his arm kind of shows he’s not over her and is still grieving. Yes, I am a Cook fan and am hoping his new album will be great. I voted for him last season, but was a bit disappointed in his debut. I think he has a great voice and is very talented. I also like Archie, and the rest on that season. I guess, so far, no one idol has really irked me where I passionately dislike them.

BUT I have NEVER written a hateful comment abount MJ, or her blog, on Planet Fierce — or anywhere else. I respect MJ although I do not alway agree with her opinions or predictions about Adam or American Idol.
I see no reason that my industry experience and knowledge should be annoying but if it is, then don’t read anything I write. I have been in the business a very long time. I have access to and knowledge of most of the critical information [Nielsen Ratings, Billboard Charts, SoundScan, Oricon and Mnet Charts, etc.] because I am a corporate exec who uses this info in my job. If you find my comments annoying, then perhaps you shouldn’t read them.

Q3, I didn’t realize the MJ quotes had been attributed to you (at least by anyone commenting here). The popular suspicion is that the culprit is hwc.(also hinted at by MJ) I didn’t search and cherry-pick comments BTW, I looked at a total of 2 pages @ PF and both pages were full of such comments. When all you read is two pages, and that is the tone you encounter, well….you know what they say about first impressions. I probably spent a total of 10 minutes @ PF. Maybe 99% percent of the board is pro-Adam, as opposed to pro-bashing ….but that is not what I saw, and I did not have to look for it to find it.
Most of your posters who are whining about being banned @ MJ’s were trolls. Maybe if they had abided by her rules, and restricted their comments to the subject at hand, and had curtailed their provocations like she asked them to, they would have no reason to bitch.

In any case, the comments are on a low traffic thread, and were posted on 11/25/09 — so it looks like someone searched for them. Plus, there are no anonomous comments on PF, so the comments quoted here had an ID on them when copied — it just was left off the post.
Suggest you relook at Planet Fierce — it is a positive, pro-Adam site — some of our members are also Kris, Alli, Danny and other Idol fans. Our membership is quite large and actually most members have never been to MJs — although many of us are regular visitors there. The main credit for membership on PF goes to Adam who tweeted a link to an article on our site, to members of Adam’s band who have also tweeted links and to several reporters who have link to information on the site.
Planet Fierce was founded by Adam fans who really wanted to be able to discuss Adam freely and who are passionate about respecting the comments people make — even if we disagree with them. It is an Adam fansite that actually has critical analysis of Adam — but it is an Adam fansite. So, if you are not passionately interested in Adam you will be bored in about 15 minutes.
And if you do visit PF, take a look at the Daily Planet — the news thread — it is the most visited part of the site. It will give you an idea what PF is about, and also demostrates why PF is different than a general AI blog.

I think what irritates people (maybe including MJ herself) is the two-faced aspect of this. They were all jumping up and down claiming that they needed that super sekrit forum to vent about how awful MJs is. If they hate it that much, why not just not go to MJs anymore? It’s not hard. Just don’t pull up that page. They say that Planet Fierce is so much better and has so much more information and they love it so much, so what would it harm them to leave MJs to saner people? Just checked out the Planet Fierce site. Now I get it. Q3’s true colors exposed. I thought she was just an older woman who liked Adam Lambert and spent hours and hours online. She’s a global moderator on that site, whatever that is — sounds up there in the Glambert hierarchy. HWC, another MJ poster, always came across too cool for AI, making snarky comments about Kris Allen. There fanaticism runs deep.
I have to say that HBD is a great live performer. Watching The Truth on Ytube where he performed in Charlotte was excellent and the song is not one of my top favs. I still believe when the AI bullshit is behind Kris, he’ll be recognized as a credible artists.

Out of myself and the other bloggers I know, I think some a few may be more partial to Lambert, but no one dislikes either Allen or Lambert (all universal about Gokey, however). And as you probably know, there are a few of us who are notably more “Team Kris” over “Team Adam”. But because we’re normal people and don’t invest nearly as much time in this crap as fantards, this isn’t anything we even discuss.

Not only did hwc get banned, I bet he’s the one trying to post and sending nasty emails. MJ called him out when she mentioned that there was a poster who would make nasty comments against Kris and then have congratulatory, back patting comments from the loons afterwards. The funniest part was that MJ gave hwc a lot of chances because I think she originally thought he might just be a snarky poster, but then she realized he was actually a disturbed ott male glambert who was trolling.
Honestly, if the guys from Criminal Minds did a behavioral analysis on hwc they’d say that he was a small penised person with a dead end job who lives in his mother’s basement, spending all day online trying to find gullible people to give him validation. They’d also note that hwc consciously focused on Adam b/c Adam is someone who is out and seemingly confident. Unconsciously though hwc’s real object of obsession was Kris, who he desires with the fire of a thousand suns. Yesterday, there was some discussion about tweeting Katy to let her know that Kris should shave, lol. I think a reasonable person told them it was creepy and talked them out of it (at least I hope so). They also wanted to tell the band which instruments they should and shouldn’t use in the performances of various songs. Blah. I used to post over there quite a bit, but now I’m practically a lurker.

I’m a Kris Allen Fan. There are big differences between being a fan and a tard.
To be a tard, you have to do nothing else but talk to your online tard buddies, spam online polls, go to several concerts, at least 1-2 require you to go through airport security and board a plane. Tards dress up as these people on Halloween. Or make their children do it. Tards make Twitter/FB/MySpace pages devoted solely to the of their savior. Musicians or actors I enjoy rarely dominate my every daily thought and action.
I am considering making my writers at work call me Donna Draper, but that’s just in jest. Heh heh heh.

Lauren would approve that last statement! I was hoping they’d keep the guitar solo at the end of CSA that they’ve added to their live performances, it’s so much better that way IMO.

My favorite was all the excited male fans taking pictures of Kris while hanging out with their girlfriends (who had never suspected their boyfriends had man-crushes on a teeny-tiny AI contestant).
Some woman working the event – pr or press – tweeted that she nearly got ran over by young people running to meet Kris Allen. Yeah, nobody cared at all…
