What do you think about a Top Idol Forum?

Don’t worry, I’m working on the 2019 Top Idol These Mean Nothing Awards this afternoon, however…I did want to ask my readers about something else I’ve been thinking about adding to this site.
A forum.
On the forum, we can discuss whatever, things related to my posts or anything else. I will most likely keep it locked down pretty tightly, but I can’t imagine if I did operate a forum/board, that I would allow it to spiral into a place for lunatic trolls.
If I made a forum, would you guys post? Something to think about. Obviously, I like the growing comment sections on posts, trust me.

Might be a good thing but, I also fear that it might become more of some fansite type thing. I come here because you are a great writer with interesting and funny insight.
sorry- wasn’t finished. I also enjoy the comments on each post. My worry would be that you may not have time to moderate a forum- you would have to have a really tight handle on things to prevent some of the crap we have seen on other sites.
All that being said, I would support the site with or without the forum.
Yeah, I think I’ll just concentrate on this fine area of expertise(?) Actually, I would rather have comments than moderate a forum 😉 I’m a whore like that.

I’m not opposed to it, but I tend to lurk more in forums these days. It’s hard enough for me to keep up with this!
I’d participate. I love the OT too. It’s a lot of extra work, though.
An old, small one I used to frequent more had a very specific structure that worked well for keeping people from grouping apart. All regular discussion occurred in a single daily or weekly thread. Certain topics had their own threads so we could find opinions on those things easier. Things like TV, film, books, cool photos, humor, and Scientology. Only one thread for discussing AI. Regardless of who you liked. You could probably stick to that, and add a “point and laugh” type thread, of course.
As long as it in no way diminishes the current awesomeness…then what the heck!

That would be fun. One more place to make fun of the contestants when the season starts. It might make me post more often as opposed to lurk. Not that you actually care about my amusement, but still. I vote yes!
I voted “no” because I would be afraid it would devolve into fancamps. But it wasn’t a firm “no” but more of a “eh, I’m not really sure, I’d hate for the vibe to change here.”
I think if TI was a firm mod it would work out okay.

As many as you want. As long as they are all 32-year-old blond Ad Executives who are classy and travel a lot with their laptop.
I fear for my grades next semester. I’ll be so busy jetsetting with my classy laptop, navigating the ins and outs of the music industry and exposing skanks (AKA women who are not me) I’m gonna look like a dam moran in class!
I just came out of lurking and now I feel all free and zany and postalicious. I would love a forum.
I’m the queen of off topic so a forum would at least keep my ADD in check.
